Podcast Interview - Jill Nicolini and Frank Ring on the Podcast Business News Network

On Monday, 1/16/23, I did a podcast interview with Jill Nicolini of the Podcast Business News Network. In this fast-past 28-minute conversation, Jill and I discussed many topics related to how I got into walking and why I started my Walking for Health and Fitness Website.

We started the interview by talking about the origins of my website. I gave Jill an overview of how I hurt my back and how this injury put me out of work for four long months. And that it was while recovering and getting stronger by walking that I realized just how much I enjoyed walking; the easy physical movement, the time listening to podcasts, audiobooks, and personal development programs. Then, I chose not to return to running but to use walking as my fitness exercise.

I realized that walking was the easiest way to get in shape and stay in shape. I liked this description so much that I used it as the subtitle of my first book, Walking for Health and Fitness; The Easiest Way to Get in Shape and Stay in Shape.

As a former business owner, I saw the opportunity to start a new online business centered around walking and fitness. I've always been an athlete and kept myself in shape, and now I want to share my knowledge with others by writing my first book, Walking for Health and Fitness, the easiest way to get in shape and stay in shape.

After writing the first book, I was hooked on writing and released my second book, Fitness Walking and Bodyweight Exercises. In this book, I describe how to use bodyweight exercise during your walks to build total body strength, stamina, and overall fitness.

As the podcast moved along, we covered how my back injury led me to develop my website and write books including my last two book, Walking Inspiration, and the Walking Logbook Journal.

We finished the discussion with my STEPS acronym and why walking is the perfect exercise for anyone starting an exercise program.
